Douglas Singleterry specializes in medical malpractice defense, representing physicians, hospitals and nurses in all stages of pre-trial litigation. He has been published in New Jersey Lawyer, the New Jersey Law Journal and Medical Malpractice Law & Strategy on issues pertaining to medical malpractice.
Active in civic affairs, Mr. Singleterry serves on the North Plainfield Borough Council and previously on the Planning Board. He is Vice-President of the Somerset County Governing Officials Association and Chapter Chair of the Tri-County Red Cross. Mr. Singleterry received the Service to the Community Award from the New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division in 2007.
Mr. Singleterry received a J.D. from New York Law School in 2002 and B.A. from Drew University in 1997. Following law school, Singleterry law clerked for the Honorable Roberto Alcazar in the New Jersey Superior Court.
