Following his graduation from The Ohio State University College of Law in 2018, Mr. Niesz clerked for the Honorable Marc C. LeMieux, J.S.C. in the Law Division, Monmouth County, New Jersey. He then worked as an associate with another medical-malpractice firm in New Jersey. There, Mr. Niesz assisted with the day-to-day management of medical-malpractice cases, including drafting of dispositive motions and engaging experts to review and provide opinions in defense of his clients. Mr. Niesz also drafted appellate briefs and participated in oral arguments before the New Jersey Appellate Division.
Mr. Niesz graduated law school as a managing editor of the law review. He also received the Public Service Fellowship with Dean’s Special Recognition. He was similarly commended by the Ohio Supreme Court for his public service. While in law school, he served as an intern in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Tort Litigation Section. He also served as an intern in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Administrative Litigation in Washington, D.C.
Prior to law school, Mr. Niesz graduated from Rutgers University summa cum laude in the top 1% of his class as a member of the Matthew Leydt Society. He was an Eagleton Institute of Politics Undergraduate Associate and a Lloyd Gardner Fellow in Leadership and Social Policy. He also worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the mathematics department while at Rutgers.
