Currently a Partner at Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski, P.C. in Morris Plains, New Jersey, Mr. Altschul has dedicated his career to vigorously defending clients in both State and Federal Courts. Prior to his current role, Mr. Altschul was a Partner at Krompier & Tamn, L.L.C., where he honed his expertise in defending medical professionals for over a decade in intricate malpractice actions, deposing key witnesses, and representing clients before the Appellate Division and State Board matters.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Altschul represented businesses in litigation, including shareholder derivative, breach of contract, and professional malpractice actions. He also played a crucial role in preparing a wide range of transactional agreements, from business purchase agreements to intellectual property licenses. His foundational legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Linda Wallach Miller in the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. Altschul holds an LL.M. in Transnational Law from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, he spent his final semester studying abroad at Temple University Japan’s Law School in Tokyo. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice in both the New Jersey State Bar and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bar.
