Mr. Donnelly tries cases in federal and state courts and has successfully argued appeals before the Supreme Court and Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
In both 2008 and 2009, Mr. Donnelly was named a “Super Lawyer,” by New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine, an honor bestowed on no more than five percent of attorneys in the state. Mr. Donnelly has been awarded the Distinguished rating from Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, the gold standard in attorney ratings, which have recognized lawyers for their strong legal ability and high ethical standards for more than a century. The Distinguished rating indicates that Mr. Donnelly is widely respected by his peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
Throughout his career, Mr. Donnelly has served as a lecturer for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and for hospital groups. He is a past member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey and previously served as a Barrister with the Union County Inns of Court. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
Mr. Donnelly serves as president and board trustee for the Dorothy B. Hersh Foundation, a charitable foundation that funds capital projects to benefit underprivileged children and young adults.
