Craig Domalewski and Brandon Minde will be speakers at this CLE presentation at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Meeting in Atlantic City on May 19, 2016. The presentation will focus on the challenges imposed on a business facing criminal charges or regulatory action. Top white collar crime criminal defense and regulatory attorneys will discuss what to do when a business and/or its officers is being investigated by a regulator or charged for state criminal activity related to the business. Speakers will discuss how to navigate this complex minefield to ensure the company can stay solvent and in business, and how the use of outside consulting firms can be an effective tool in responding to a criminal or regulatory investigation. NJLJ – Announcing the 2015 New Leaders of the Bar
Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski, P.C. is proud to announce that Brandon D. Minde has been reappointed as Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Election Committee for 2015-2016. The Election Committee supervises the conduct of elections for contested positions in the Association and voting on amendments to the Bar Association’s bylaws; informs candidates for office and the entire Bar Association membership of the procedures governing elections; and ensures that all elections are conducted fairly and even-handedly. Two consecutive Bar Association presidents have appointed Mr. Minde to lead this standing committee that plays an extremely important role in helping to advance the interests of the Bar Association and the legal profession.
The Honorable William L’E. Wertheimer, J.A.D. (ret.) will be a speaker on a panel for the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. The panel will address “The Do’s and Don’t’s of State and Federal Court Trial Practice.” The seminar will take place on April 23, 2015, at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, New Jersey, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Brandon D. Minde will be a speaker at the 2015 NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention. Mr. Minde will participate on a panel entitled “White Collar Crime – the Pen is Mightier Than the Sword.” The panel of judges, prosecutors and defense counsel will provide information for practicing attorneys on how to handle cases involving white collar crime. The panel will take place at the Borgata Casino Water Club on May 14, 2015.
